If you're a nurse practitioner, you may be wondering what procedures you can perform and what your condition requires. It's always a good idea to contact pharmaceutical companies to make sure you can order the product. We have had dentists attend our courses and take the training solely for personal reasons, as well as those who plan to incorporate injectable procedures into their practice. Physician assistants will work under the direction of a medical director who performs injectables, but they may be able to practice independently without a doctor located on site.
The supervising medical director may not be required to provide direct supervision or to be located on site, which may increase the opportunity to practice injectables at a location of your choice.
